  2. STRING TABLES FOR INSTALL.EXE

  5. This package contains the resource script for the string tables
  6. used in INSTAL.LEXE. The string tables should be compiled into
  7. a DLL called WINSTALL.DLL. There may be any number of pre-compiled
  8. DLLs in this ZIP file. They are named according to the language
  9. used in them. For example, the English version is called ENGLISH.DLL
  10. (note that if you are using English, you do not need a WINSTALL.DLL).

  12. You can either do your own translation and compile your own
  13. language DLL, or rename any appropriate precompiled DLL to
  14. WINSTALL.DLL. This file MUST be in the same directory as
  15. INSTALL.EXE, otherwise the internal English string tables will
  16. be used.

  20. I take no responsibility for any of the precompiled DLLs. If there
  21. is any non-English DLL in this ZIP file, it is because somebody else
  22. undertook the translation. I have no way of verifying the correctness
  23. of any non-English translation, and I am just packaging them here for
  24. your possible convenience. You do not have to use them, and if you do,
  25. you are on your own.

  27. If you undertake a translation and send me (UUencoded) a copy of your
  28. DLL, I will add your name to the "Credits" section of the help file
  29. of any release with which I package your translation. If there is already
  30. a translation in your language in this ZIP file, please do NOT send me
  31. another one.
